COVID 19

Treatments and Procedures during COVID 19

The Clinic will remain open following the announcement of the second lockdown on 4th January 2021 . To ensure the safety of patients, staff and the wider public we shall continue with the strict procedures procedures in line with the advice of Public Health England and our Professional Body the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. These procedures are summarised here and full documentation is available at the clinic.

All appointment offers will be subject to screening to determine whether Face to Face contact is necessary and assess the COVID risk factors. During face to face treatment we are unable to adhere to social distancing guidelines and, although we will wear full PPE, we cannot eliminate risk entirely.

We have strict hygiene procedures in place and we have altered the way we work to ensure that the clinic remains a low risk zone. As an example of this only one patient will allowed in the clinic at a time, no escorts will be allowed into the clinic unless absolutely essential and chaperones will be subject to the same level of screening. The wearing of a mask is compulsory during your time in the clinic. Staff will wearing PPE during hands on treatment. Patients will be expected to sanitise their hands from the provided dispensers. All rooms will be sanitised between patients.

We will still be able to perform injections following strict protocols and with the approval of your GP.

We are committed to working with you to provide the best physiotherapy services in the safest possible environment and thank you for your understanding during these challenging times. Should you have any questions, concerns or would like to make an appointment please call us on 01457 871777.
