Treatments and Procedures during COVID 19
The Clinic will reopen on Monday 1st June 2020 at 9:00 AM. To ensure the safety of patients, staff and the wider public we have introduced new procedures in line with the advice of Public Health England and our Professional Body the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. These new procedures are summarised here and full documentation is available at the clinic.
Initial treatment will be by video consultation to assess the problem, determine whether Face to Face contact is necessary and assess the COVID risk factors. You will receive the same level of expertise and clinical assessment as you would in a Face to Face consultation and you will be provided with a tailored exercise programme.
We have strict hygiene procedures in place and we have altered the way we work to ensure that the clinic remains a low risk zone. As an example of this only one patient will allowed in the clinic at a time, no escorts will be allowed into the clinic, and all patients will be provided with a surgical grade mask, the wearing of which is compulsory during your time in the clinic. Staff will wearing PPE during hands on treatment. Patients will be expected to sanitise their hands from the provided dispensers. All rooms will be sanitised between patients.
We will still be able to perform injections following strict protocols and with the approval of your GP.
We are committed to working with you to provide the best physiotherapy services in the safest possible environment and thank you for your understanding during these challenging times. Should you have any questions or would like to make an appointment please call us on 01457 871777.
